Kevin Leung Ko Tsun

Hi there this is Kevin Leung. I am a visiting student from HKUST(Hong Kong University of Science and Technology). I am born and raised in Hong Kong, and I am fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. I study triple majors in Data Science, Computer Science and Mathematics(Applied Maths Track). Outside classes I love travelling, coding, and playing Nintendo Switch. I would love to make some friends here! Nice to meet you all! You may find me via whatsapp:

Here are some [ notes], mostly from Tao's Introduction to Measure Theory.
A few exercises are thrown in, mostly sketches. I focused on material not found or emphasized in Analysis II. I'll update the pdf regularly, if anyone stopping by is interested in reading them I will be typesetting the occasional solution to exercises in this book. If anyone wants to do so together, or to discuss some exercises in general at any point, that would be nice!

Drawbacks of Riemann integral: The set of Riemann integrable functions turns out to be a rather unsatisfactorily small class of functions (textbook Tao).

Exceptions of Lebesgue integral: “If one assumes the axiom of choice, then there are still some pathological functions one can construct which cannot be integrated by the Lebesgue integral, but these functions will not come up in real-life applications.

Our site is based on wiki, so anyone can edit. I encourage you to create your own homepage and share something, perhaps your course note, your homework solution, and your questions about the lectures. I will read them, and hopefully your other classmates will also read and benefit from it.
